John
Petermeier is a versatile artist who works in a variety
of mediums and styles. Much of John's artwork reflects his love
of small town life and wildlife of the prairie and upper Midwest,
but he doesn't stop there.
He has a wide range of subject interests which includes wildlife
art, portraits, landscapes, religious subjects, architecture,
and more. John works with pencil, colored pencil, design marker,
computer sketching and occasionally pastel. Many times he will
combine drawing mediums to create a unique piece of art.
John was trained at Mankato State University(now Minnesota State
at Mankato) and at Hennepin Technical College in Minneapolis.
However, John prides himself with years of self training and drawing
dating back to his childhood.
John invites you to take a look at his art. If there is something

When I am not busy being creative with my drawing, I love spending
time with my family and friends, traveling, baseball, taking photos,
and working part-time in radio broadcasting. I've included some
photos that reflect a small part of my life. I hope you enjoy
them.
